Impound release info

If you have a car in our impound yard and you need to make arrangements to pick it up.  This is what you need.

• Valid US or Canadian Drivers License.
• Valid US or Canadian government issued photo ID card
• Valid Government issued Passport
• Valid D.U.I. citation marking you "eligible for permit"

You MUST have a licensed driver if the vehicle is to be driven away. 

The only form of payment accepted is Cash, unless being removed by an insurance company, tow company, or body shop that we have cleared for a check in advanced.

If you hold a signed over title, guess what you DO NOT own the car! Who ever the State says owns the car is who owns the car.  If you have of a signed over title than you have a piece of paper.. Until you bring it to the tax collector's office and put that vehicle in your name it is not "your vehicle".

Only the registered owner (s) can remove property from a vehicle or make arrangements for its removal or disposal.

If you are the registered owner and you can't personally be here to get your vehicle or property in the vehicle and want to send an agent in your place you will need to send them with our Power of Attorney letter. one can be faxed or e-mailed to you, or if after business hours you can use one of these..

• Power of Attorney

• Power of Attorney for an inmate (In custody)

Please always call before coming out to get the current balance due on the vehicle as it changes based on the day and time you are coming.
